Jeanne Bookhout came to Camelback Bible Church on August 1, 2003 to be the Administrator of Camelback Christian School. CCS is a preschool with approximately 100 children, ages 2-6.

Before coming to CBC, Jeanne spent the last few years as a middle school teacher, primarily teaching Math, Science, Bible, and Health. Jeanne also coordinated the Junior Church program at her church and worked as a Sr. High Youth leader. She was also on the Board of Directors for the Red Hook Recreation Department. When not in the classroom or busy at church, Jeanne could be found on the soccer field serving as a referee for both Junior Varsity and Varsity Soccer.

Jeanne was blessed to have grown up on the island of Bonaire in the Caribbean and attending a Dutch speaking school. Being the child of Trans World Radio missionaries was absolutely one of the highlights of her life.

Jeanne met her husband Tom (Pastor of Music Ministries at CBC) while attending Houghton College in Houghton, New York. She graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Elementary Education with a minor in Communication. The happy couple was married the summer after graduation.

Tom and Jeanne have three children: Katrina,Tracy and Matthew, who attend Arizona State University, Whitworth University and Christ Lutheran School, respectively. In addition to having 3 wonderful children, they are also the proud owners of a nice cat named Lucky and a golden retriever named Shelby, a yellow lab named Hope and 2 fish.

Presently, Jeanne sings in the Adult Choir, Ensemble, and plays in the Adult Handbell Choir.

Her favorite encouraging passage of scripture is Jude vs 2 – “ May more and more mercy, peace and love be given to you!”
