MINISTRY Gordon is Europe Director for Greater Europe Mission. This includes the oversight of all 300+ GEM missionaries and the multiple short-term teams that live or operate in nearly 50 countries in Europe and beyond. Reporting to him are the members of the Europe Council: Regional Directors and the Directors of Member Development and Europe-wide Ministries. Gordon is responsible, with the president, for developing and implementing GEM strategy in Europe. In addition, he works with national leaders and Europe Directors from other agencies as well as with churches in the USA and Canada to develop collaborative activities for the evangelization of greater Europe.
Caryl is Gordon's administrative assistant. In addition, she travels with him as he visits missionaries and national believers to participate in building them up and to be a listener and counselor for the missionaries.
How to Pray for the Saunders:
1. Pray that Europeans and immigrants to Europe will come to know Christ by thousands and hundreds of thousands.
2. Pray that we will be able to develop or find new models of "church" that will enable the discipleship of these new believers.
3. Pray that God will be praised in our lives and spheres of ministry.
4. Pray that I and all who participate in GEM will hear God’s voice, and that we will follow Him and see His Kingdom expand.
