Guy joined Camelback in December of 2008 as Organist, and in August 2011 assumed duties as Director of Music Ministries. In addition, he works with the music ensembles, manages the concert series and music educational programs. Prior to coming to Camelback he worked at Valley Presbyterian Church for four years as Associate Director of Worship, Music & Arts. Guy studied music at the University of Bristol in England. He continued his organ studies in Stuttgart Germany and in a number of other European countries. He holds a doctorate in music from Arizona State University. He has published a number of articles relating to organ performance, and has presented his research at universities across North America and Europe, and has broadcast on the BBC, PBS, and NPR. He has held many church music and education positions. Guy has performed on historic organs across Europe and the United States, and at venues in Europe, Asia, and the United States. He is a host on NPR member station KBAQ Phoenix. He is also a lecturer in music at Arizona State University's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” Psalm 34:8 KJV
