TODAY IN GUATEMALA there are many children who have never known Jesus. They also have needs, like dental care, which can become a vehicle for taking the Good News to them. Our church’s VBS is coming soon, and this year our missionary focus is a dental hygiene clinic for the Indian tribal children. Our missionary, Isaias Colop-xec and his family, along with Ruth Kennedy, a teacher from California, are planning to take toothbrushes, floss and a training program to these Indian children, many of whom lose significant permanent teeth before they are 20 years old. We will be helping to provide the dental supplies and the services of Guatemalan dentists who will work with the team to show the love of Jesus to these precious children and their families.
