Serving with Harvest Foundation, Two-Thirds World

MINISTRY:

Bob is president of the Harvest Foundation. Harvest trains church leaders of the Two-Thirds (developing) World. The immediate goal of this training is to equip local churches for wholistic ministry.

As president, Bob leads Harvest's international ministry team which has representatives in 16 countries. Bob also serves on the boards of several international mission organizations and frequently travels internationally to lead conferences and leadership training for church leadership. He also travels to train trainers in the teaching and implementation of Harvest's curriculum. Judy is a homemaker, professor of Art History, author of children’s literature, hostess to Harvest's international guests, and a general encouragement to Bob's ministry at Harvest.

HOW TO PRAY FOR THE MOFFITTS:

1. Pray that Bob will be able to have quality time with Judy, their three children and four grandchildren during the times he is at home.
2. Pray for time for Bob to continue his writing
3. Pray that God would anoint Bob's training sessions and mentoring for the purpose of helping local churches to reflect God’s full agenda.

HARVEST:

Harvest equips local church leadership of the developing world for ministry to the whole person and the discipleship of communities and nations. This ministry has the following three venues:1. Discipling local churches and their leadership2. Training missionaries and/or church planters3. Providing curriculum for pastoral training programs of the two-thirds world.

Wholistic Ministry points to God as relevant, loving, and able to transform lives, churches, communities, and nations. It is carried out by churches and individuals ... by followers of Jesus who demonstrate God's compassion to their neighbors.

Wholistic Ministry is founded on the biblical commands of Jesus ... to love God and neighbor. It is a lifestyle of love. (Matthew 22:37,38)
