Misc Music Opportunities

Bell Choirs

Camelback’s popular graded bell choir program, overseen by Kay Cook, provides excellent opportunities for musical training and practical ministry. All bells choirs are open to people in the church as well as from the community.

We encourage you to bring your children on Sundays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Sundays for devotional, bells, choir and snack/fellowship.  Please see schedule below:

Campanitas (children/beginners, i.e. 1st-3rd grade)
Rehearsals: Sundays, 4:15 - 5:00 PM, Room 207; Director: Leonard Valencia

Bell Canto (intermediate youth, i.e. 4th-6th grade)
Rehearsals: Sundays, 5:15 - 6:00 PM, Room 207; Director: Leonard Valencia

Camelback Bible Church Ringers (7th-12th grade)
Rehearsals: Sundays, 5:00 - 6:00 PM, Room 208; Director: Kay Cook

Genesis Ringers (adults)
Rehearsals: Sunday, 6:00-7:00 PM. Room 208; Director: Kay Cook

Orchestra

Camelback’s orchestra, led by Cal Kellogg provides a high quality opportunity for professional and skilled amateur players to play in corporate services and special performances. The forces in the ensemble may change according to the occasion, sometimes a large or small string orchestra, sometimes including wind instruments. This ensemble plays several times each year and rehearses as needed. Contact Cal Kellogg for more information.

Special Music

Each Sunday service there are opportunities for skilled musicians to share their gifts through solos and small ensembles during Offertory or Special Music. The music heard during these segments is quite varied, ranging from string quartets, an organ solo, a modern vocalist, a guitar duet or a harp solo. The special music/offertory schedule is published every four months by the Pastor of Music Ministries. Other Opportunities

On Wednesday evenings, the musical portions of EXCEL activities are led by the worship band, which specializes in modern expressions of our faith for the teen ministry. Contact the Pastor of Youth Ministries for more information.

Most ministries at Camelback use music in their meetings and worship times. Please contact the appropriate pastor or the Assistant to the Pastor of Music Ministries if you are interested in other ways to participate in music.
