A one week introduction to CBC
Discovery I introduces you to the strategic role of the local church. At Camelback Bible Church, we belileve the Lord has drawn us together to be a radiant beacon of his matchless glory in a very dark world. Through us, the body of Christ, the world discovers the re-creating power of Christ's love. It's a vocation we hardly deserve. But by God's grace, it's one we enthusiastically embrace.

At Discovery I we invite you to come and marvel at our revolutionary calling. Discover ways to sink your roots into the riches of Jesus Christ. Find out how to plug in to the greatest work of all. Learn how to serve among us. Hear how your children can grow into true disciples of the Lord. Grow in appreciation for the glorious vision that motivates the family at CBC. Discovery I is a pre-requisite for Discovery II.

Discovery Dessert is an informal time of fellowship among newcomers and regulars at CBC at the home of Pastor Tim and his wife, Lesli. This gathering affords the opportunity to learn about the exciting work God has given us as a church family and answer any questions you may have. Discovery Dessert may be attended either before or after Discovery I. Pastor Tim and Lesli look forward to meeting with you at our next Dessert!

A four week class designed to prepare you for the joy of membership at CBC.

Since we seek to anchor all our ministries in a high view of God, we will, in our first session together, open the Bible and peer into the fathomless dimensions of the Lord's glory. We will trace its spectacular earthly manifestations in the cross of Jesus Christ and discover how it transforms us into completely new human beings - making us servants in our world as Christ was in His!

In the following three sessions, we will look at the practical ways we seek to serve like Christ at CBC. Topics include: 1) How are we drawn in to Christ; 2) How are we built up in Christ; 3) How are we sent out for Christ.

Each time together will include opportunity for interaction. Come prepared to ask questions. We will also help you to assess your own position in Christ and the gifts he has given to serve in His kingdom.
